Hazel Bucher brings over 13 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to the forefront of healthcare innovation. Her diverse background spans aged care, mental health, and general practice, underscoring her commitment to holistic patient care.
Hazel's expertise extends beyond clinical practice. She has served as a research associate at the Wicking Research and Education Centre and currently leads as the Tasmanian Chapter Chair of the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
In 2010, Hazel pioneered a nurse-led memory clinic, playing a pivotal role in dementia care by participating in the Australian Dementia Network (ADNet) research. She also continues to work in general practice, focusing on weight management and overall health care.
Hazel established RISE Collaborative Health with a clear mission: to enhance timely healthcare access through nurse-led initiatives. She believes nurses are uniquely positioned to lead the evolution of healthcare delivery models, making a lasting impact on the industry.
